I started out as a child for the love of animals.
When I turned 16 my father bought my first show dog, a German Shepherd, and I trained her for show and obedience. A
wonderful dog I must say, the best I have ever owned!
After I got married I still had the love for the
sporting group, and starting working with Hungarian Vizslas. I bred, trained, and showed them for many years..
I still have a male, Dawson, who is pictured on my links and favorites page being shown at one of our local shows
in Anchorage. This went from 1989, my kennel name was Walgenbach Kennels. I was a member of the Vizsla Club of
America, AKC, and our local dog club in our area as well.
I'm now a member of the Devon Rex Breed
Club, Rex Unlimited, Alaskats Cat Club, TICA and CFA. My cattery name for both registries, is "REXCATTER." I show
all my cats and do NOT cage my animals.
My kittens are all born by my bed and stay there until
they start eating solid food and they are moved out to the main floor of our home. This is were they start getting the
inter-action they need for going to their new homes..
